The image on the covering comes from Admiral Nelson’s official potrait, painted by Lemuel Francis Abbott, in 1799. By this point, Nelson had become a national hero… and you can too if you wear this face covering!

Having joined the navy at age 12, Nelson worked his way up the rankings of the Royal Navy.  By the time he was aged 20, he had served all over the globe (in the West Indies, Baltic and Canada) and was made the rank of Captain. He would later serve in the French Revolutionary Wars and eventually the Napoleonic Wars achieving victories at the Battle of the Nile and Trafalgar.

He met his demise at the famous Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, where he was shot by a sniper. He died on the Orlop Deck of HMS Victory and is commemorated across Britain, most notably at Trafalgar Square.

We are unable to accept returns on face coverings.
